The telencephalon
Telencephalon or Brain
It is the part of the nervous system of the vertebrates, that is protected inside the skull.
It is divided into several parts:
Forebrain, the midbrain and the hindbrain.
The Brain is vital to life. Any damage, has repercussions on some function of our organism.
The Prosencephalon shows two parts: the telencephalon or brain and the diencephalon formed by the thalamus and the hypothalamus.
telencephalon, or Brain, has two hemispheres (right and left).
In the Brain is gathered the capacity that we humans have to think, produce memories, behavior and mood of a person. It is also the seat of intelligence and is the control center of the organism, coordinates the faculties of movement, touch, smell, hearing and sight. It also allows language training, understanding and performing numerical operations, and many other functions.
