About 3500 million years ago, life appeared in the oceans. They were like the present unicellular microbes and bacteria.
The first attempt to classify living things was Aristotle that included 50 species.
Currently the classification of living things is divided into five kingdoms:
Moneras, the most primitive living beings. Including bacteria and algae (blue).
Protists, unicellular organisms with movement (That resembles animals).
Fungi lack chlorophyll, so that feed on plant and animal detritus.
Animals, ranging from very simple things in structure like jellyfish, to fish, reptiles, mammals and man.........
