Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, an eminent psychiatrist established five stages of grief:
Denial phase (this is not happening to me).
Phase anger (Why is this happening to me?)
Negotiation phase (I promise that if I leave this ...)
Depression phase (What will become of them)
Acceptance phase (which is what should be)
Grieving is the process of emotional adjustment that follows a loss. Usually the type of loss can be very wide, a break of couple, the loss of a job, etc ... But despite the similarities, the most real duel is given to the loss of a loved one for his death.
Grief is the emotional stage, feelings.
Mourning is the outward expression of such feelings. (Appear sad, wear mourning clothes).
The stages of grief Kubler-Ross, not always present in all people. Some phase may occur.
