When there were these artifacts present, because for those past lives were not important future developments artifacts, but were important artifacts they had at hand such as the telegraph, the phonograph, etc.
When invented the microprocessor in 1970, computers as we know them today, which are available to almost everyone in the developed world.
The use of the wheel became indispensable in antiquity. Currently it is essential to the computer.
